Celtic Animal Life Line is a small, voluntary run, privately operated rescue and re-homing group. We are a registered charity.

We do not have our own rescue premises, our dogs are kennelled privately, therefore, due to a lack of kennel spaces available and the considerable cost of private kennelling, we are not in a position to take in large numbers of dogs. 

We give priority to those dogs whom we believe to be at risk.

We also try to help owners wishing to rehome their own pets, by posting up photo & details of their pet on our website while the dog remains in its present home until a new suitable home may be located. 

Our rescue dogs are re-homed subject to our re-homing criteria and we ask for a donation from our adopters when a dog is rehomed. The donation is not for the purchase of the dog, rather it is towards the upkeep, veterinary and other costs of all the dogs under our care & protection.

Though we are based in the Dublin/Kildare /West Wicklow area, we have rehomed many of our dogs throughout Ireland.
