We are often asked by the public " how do you cover all the costs for the rescue?" and it is a question we often wonder about ourselves - !!!

Donations contribute in a small way towards our costs, the average donation for a dog adopted being in the region of 100 euros. However, the cost of keeping a single dog until it is adopted by the most suitable home can vary substantially -

The average cost for 1 healthy dog coming into kennels, without any serious veterinary issues,  staying in kennels for 1 month - that would be the minimum time scale for any of our dogs in rescue- would be approximately  400 euros.

So, there is always a cash shortfall even allowing a 100.00euro donation when the dog is rehomed, there is still an approximate deficit of 300.00 euros. for that dog. 

 We always need help and here are some ways you may be able to help

1. Donations - via Paypal / Standing Orders/Direct Debits/Cheque/P.O.

2. Organise a fundraising event for us - pub quiz/ car boot sale/coffee morning in your home, collection in your work environment etc....

3. Sponsor, or, contribute towards a dog's stay in kennels,pending rehoming.

4. Contribute towards the cost of worm tablets/ vaccinations/ microchipping for a dog.

5. Fostering - maybe you are at home during the day, some dogs fare better in a home environment pending re-homing. However this does require committment for a number of weeks from fosterers & we do give full back up to our fosterers.

6. Contribution towards our dog food bills and treats - they all love their treats !!!

7. Contribution towards our veterinary costs.
